Orylan, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, is often unfairly labeled a “demon” by online trolls, yet she confidently embraces her unique appearance, feeling more beautiful than ever.
Her journey into body modification began at 14 when she got her first tattoo, and since then, she has covered almost her entire body in ink.
Among her more daring transformations, Orylan has had her eyeballs tattooed and even opted for surgery to split her tongue in two.
Along with her tattoos and split tongue, she has also transformed her smile with fang-shaped veneers and has a heart-shaped implant in her hand.
Orylan confidently embraces her distinctive appearance on Instagram, regularly posting photos and videos for her large following.
In an interview with MailOnline, she shared, “A lot of people think I shouldn’t have changed my appearance, but beauty is subjective, and I believe that how I look now is the beauty I’ve always wanted to embody.”
She went on to explain, “I feel I can be beautiful in any form, but I feel most authentic in the skin I’m in today.”
Despite her confidence, many strangers react negatively or with visible discomfort to her appearance.
“When people see my eyes, they either stare and remain silent, give me disapproving looks, or even confront me with harsh words,” she said.
The online criticism is even harsher, with anonymous users leaving cruel comments.
“They love to call me things like ‘You look like a demon,’ or ‘You were much prettier before,’ or even ‘You must’ve had a terrible childhood,’” she added.
Orylan takes a spontaneous approach to body modification, without pre-planning her changes.
She shared, “I don’t aim to look like anything specific. I take it day by day, deciding if I want to modify something on my body,” and mentioned that she might explore adding more facial tattoos or even tattooing her tongue in the future.
Interestingly, Orylan believes that her split tongue allows her to taste two different foods at once.
Reflecting on her experience, she recalled, “I tried it as soon as it healed. Coke and Sprite were the first things I tasted together. It was a confusing flavor combination.”
Fans have been taken aback by Orylan’s before-and-after photos.
