‘Shallowing’ is the newest bedroom trend—and chances are, you’ve already experienced it without knowing.
Everyone’s buzzing about this hot new s** trend, but it might be something you’ve actually tried and enjoyed all along.
One person shares: “When it’s done well, it’s incredible.”
Another chimes in: “Totally love it!!!”

But ‘shallowing’ isn’t the only trend making waves in the bedroom.
A study from Northwestern University suggests that adding music to intimate moments can be a game-changer, with researchers saying “the secret to an orgm lies in rhythm.”
Songs with a tempo around 119 BPM—like Justin Timberlake’s ‘SyBack’—can help sync up the rhythm, boosting pleasure through sound.
Erotic playlists are expected to grow in popularity, as music activates the same pleasure centers in the brain that are linked to arousal.
Outside the bedroom, the idea of sexual wellness is also evolving, expanding into areas like travel.

LELO forecasts a rise in wellness retreats that provide individuals and couples with chances to reconnect both physically and spiritually, according to Metro.
These retreats focus on relaxation and intimacy, often featuring yoga, meditation, and workshops that encourage exploring sexuality without judgment.
“We’re likely to see wellness becoming even more mainstream—just where it should be,” says psychosexual therapist Kate Moyle.
“Expect more open conversations about intimacy, along with initiatives aimed at breaking down stigma and building confidence. Sexual pleasure is stepping into the spotlight!”

Products designed to boost libido and arousal—often containing ingredients like ginseng, Vitamin B3, or L-arginine—are being studied for their possible benefits on circulation and sexual function.
Pharmacist Carolina Goncalves explains, “Research indicates that ginseng and Vitamin B3 may help improve blood flow throughout the body, including to intimate areas. Likewise, supplements with L-arginine could support enhanced libido.”
She also offers a word of advice: “It’s always best to check with your GP or healthcare provider before adding these supplements to your regimen.”

This form of outercourse involves ‘lightly entering the vag**a with the tip of the p**is or finger or using the tongue or a toy at the entrance – not fully inside.’
The vag**al entrance is ‘packed with specific nerve endings that can intensify female pleasure,’ leading to what some have called ‘mind-blowing org**ms.’
A 2021 study found that 83.8% of women experienced more frequent or pleasurable climax through ‘shallowing,’ making it one of the most compelling techniques.
