Marcel Bonn, best known by his stage name Tim Kruger, was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, and was one of the most popular and successful gay adult film stars.
Beyond his work as a performer and collaborations with fellow creators, the 44-year-old was known for his website TimTales, one of the biggest sites and production companies in the gay p*** industry.
At some point, Kruger relocated to Barcelona, where he lived with his partner until his death.
Fans have taken to social media and paid tribute following news of the adult star’s passing.

The heartbreaking news of Tim Kruger’s passing was confirmed by his longtime partner, Grobes Geraet, in a statement shared on TimTales.
“It is with profound sorrow that I share the passing of our beloved Marcel, known to many as Tim Kruger,” the statement read.
“To the world, he was an iconic red-haired adult performer. To me, he was so much more—my sweet, loving partner of over 20 years and my best friend. He had a unique way of touching the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him.”
Geraet also addressed the circumstances surrounding Kruger’s death, describing it as a tragic accident.
“I understand the unfortunate speculation that often follows losses in the adult entertainment industry, so I want to be absolutely clear: Tim’s passing was the result of a simple, heartbreaking accident at home,” he wrote.
“There were no drugs involved, nor was there any sign of foul play or self-harm.”
Geraet shared that he finds “comfort in the countless memories Tim left us with” and in honoring “his legacy of compassion, love, and joy.”
He concluded the statement by saying, “I understand many of you may have numerous questions, but this is all the information I can provide at this time. I kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of his loved ones as they take time to grieve. Thank you.”
