Valeria Mireles, a cowgirl influencer known as ‘Miss Rodeo,’ built a loyal following by sharing her love for the cowgirl lifestyle.

She grew her audience to nearly 28,000 followers on Instagram and close to 50,000 on TikTok.

Alongside her equestrian content, Mireles also posted about her everyday life and personal care routines.

One person wrote: “I’m in shock — I can’t believe it. Rest in peace, Valeria.”

Another shared: “Thinking about her family’s pain, and knowing her horses won’t realize there won’t be another rodeo with her, makes my heart ache.”

A third person commented: “It’s heartbreaking to lose someone so young. My heart goes out to her family. Rest in peace, beautiful cowgirl.”

A fourth added: “I loved her videos — she was incredibly talented. Fly high, sweet angel.”

Mireles earned runner-up honors at the 2021 national pole race and went on to represent Mexico at an international rodeo competition in Wyoming the following year.

In a heartfelt statement, the Mexican Rodeo Federation said: “Valeria was more than just a rodeo queen — she was a true ambassador of cowboy culture and a source of inspiration for countless young women.

“Her radiant smile lit up every arena, and her passion for rodeo was truly infectious. Though her loss leaves a deep void, her legacy will continue to live on in our hearts and the spirit of the rodeo.”

Valeria Mireles’ uncle, David González — the former mayor of her hometown, Sabinas Hidalgo — mourned her loss in a heartfelt Facebook post.

“Niece Ana Valeria Mireles Villarreal, you will forever live in our hearts. We will miss you dearly,” he wrote.

The beloved cowgirl influencer tragically passed away following a car accident in the northeastern state of Nuevo León, Mexico.

Additional information about Mireles’s passing has not yet been made public.

According to Mexican outlet N+, her parents have requested privacy during this incredibly difficult time and have chosen not to make any further public statements about their heartbreaking loss.
