Everyone is talking about a hot new s** trend, but it may be something you’ve already tried and enjoyed, without even realizing it.

One person says: “It’s amazing if done right.”

Another adds: “I love it!!!”

But “shallowing” isn’t the only bedroom trend gaining momentum.

A study by Northwestern University suggests that incorporating music into intimate moments can be highly beneficial—highlighting that “the key to orgasm is rhythm.”

Songs with a tempo around 119 beats per minute—such as Justin Timberlake’s SexyBack—can enhance the rhythmic connection between partners, amplifying pleasure through auditory stimulation.

As a result, demand for erotic playlists is on the rise, with music shown to activate the same pleasure-seeking areas of the brain associated with arousal.

And it’s not just limited to the bedroom. The concept of sexual wellness is increasingly expanding into other lifestyle areas, including travel.

LELO predicts that wellness retreats will flourish, offering individuals and couples opportunities to reconnect physically and spiritually, Metro reports.

These retreats emphasize rest and intimacy, and often incorporate yoga, meditation, and workshops to explore sexuality in a stigma-free setting.

“We can expect to see wellness going even more mainstream – where it belongs,” says psychosexual therapist Kate Moyle.

“We’ll see more conversations about intimacy… and more starter campaigns designed to tackle stigma and boost confidence. Sexual pleasure is no longer in the sidelines!”

Supplement use is also on the rise.

Products aimed at supporting l**ido and arousal, such as those containing ginseng, Vitamin B3, or L-arginine, are being explored for their potential effects on circulation and s**ual performance.

Pharmacist Carolina Goncalves explains: “Some studies suggest that ginseng and Vitamin B3 may potentially enhance blood flow around the body and to the intimate area… Additionally, some supplements containing ingredients such as L-arginine might contribute to improvements in l**ido.”

She adds a note of caution: “It’s important to consult with your GP or doctor before incorporating them into your routine.”

Among these developments, a standout trend is ‘shallowing.’

This form of outercourse involves gently stimulating the vaginal entrance—such as with the tip of a finger, penis, tongue, or a toy—without full penetration.

The entrance of the vagina is rich in sensitive nerve endings that can significantly enhance pleasure, often leading to intense and deeply satisfying orgasms.

A 2021 study found that 83.8% of women reported experiencing more frequent or more pleasurable climaxes through this technique, known as “shallowing,” making it one of the most effective and enjoyable approaches to sexual intimacy.
