The ‘Havana’ singer, 27, rose to fame as a member of the girl band Fifth Harmony, who were formed through The X Factor.

The group was known for songs such as ‘Worth It’ and ‘That’s My Girl.’

Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016, revealing on the Call Me Daddy podcast that she began ‘distancing’ herself from the group and its vision.

She’s now a successful solo artist, having amassed billions of streams on music platforms.

In a new interview, Cabello has opened up about her love life and her ‘perfect first relationship.’

In recent years, Cabello’s love life has frequently made headlines.

Alongside the success of her solo career, the singer was in a high-profile relationship with fellow pop star Shawn Mendes from 2019 to 2021.

The couple often made waves on social media with their PDA-packed photos that quickly went viral.

However, after two years together, Cabello and Mendes decided to part ways, promising to stay ‘best friends.’

In a joint statement, they said: “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”

Now, Cabello has revealed that she lost her virginity to another celebrity who she was a ‘big fan’ of.

On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, the Señorita singer opened up about being “late for the first time” at 20 years old.

Reflecting on the experience, she shared, “That was my first time having sex. My first experience with lovemaking was at 20, 21… and it was truly beautiful.”

Cabello first crossed paths with Matthew Hussey, podcast host and author of Get the Guy, in 2018 during an appearance on The Today Show.

The pop star said: “I had actually listened to his podcast before. I listened to his podcast before as a fan because he had, like, a dating podcast.”

Cabello said she told Hussey: “I’m such a big fan,” and they went to dinner that night.

She added: “He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. [He] really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry too.”

According to People magazine, the pair called it quits in 2019. Since then, both have gone their separate ways — with Cabello notably entering a relationship with Mendes.

In October 2023, Hussey married Audrey Le Strat.

During a recent appearance on the Call Me Daddy podcast, Cabello shared that she’s currently single, saying, “I’ve been in relationships a lot since I started dating. It feels fun to just meet people, have conversations, and see where it goes.”
