The ‘Havana’ singer, now 27, first gained fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed on The X Factor.

The band made their mark with hits like ‘Worth It’ and ‘That’s My Girl.’

In 2016, Cabello parted ways with Fifth Harmony, later sharing on the Call Me Daddy podcast that she had started to ‘distance’ herself from the group and its direction.

Now a successful solo artist with billions of streams on music platforms, Cabello recently opened up in a new interview about her love life and what she describes as her ‘perfect first relationship.’

In recent years, Cabello’s love life has often captured public attention. Alongside the success of her solo career, the singer was romantically linked to fellow pop star Shawn Mendes, with the pair dating from 2019 to 2021. Their relationship frequently made waves online, with affectionate photos of the couple going viral across social media. Unfortunately, after two years together, Cabello and Mendes decided to part ways, promising to stay ‘best friends’ despite the split.

In a candid conversation on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Camila Cabello opened up about an important personal milestone. The Señorita singer shared that she experienced her first time at the age of 20 or 21, describing it as “lovemaking” and calling the moment “beautiful.” Cabello also mentioned meeting Matthew Hussey, the relationship coach and author of Get the Guy, in 2018 during an appearance on The Today Show.

The pop star shared, “I had actually listened to his podcast before, as a fan. He had this dating podcast that I really liked.”

Cabello recalled telling Hussey, “I’m such a big fan,” which led to them going out to dinner that same night.

She added, “He was such a great person. It felt like the perfect first relationship. He really broadened my world because he wasn’t part of my industry.”
