Kerstin Tristan, 56, is a mother and grandmother whose interests go far beyond traditional grandmotherly pastimes—she’s passionate about the art of body modification, with a particular love for tattoos.
At present, her body is entirely covered in tattoos—a transformation that came with a hefty price tag. Surprisingly, she wasn’t always drawn to body art. In fact, she once confessed that she actually disliked tattoos before 2015. So, what changed her mind? That very year, she decided to get her first tattoo—a decision that completely shifted her perspective.
“I just wanted to try something new. We only live once, so I felt like it was time to do something real,” she explained.
Since then, she has invested around 30,000 euros (approximately $32,000 USD) in tattooing her body. Fortunately, her bold choices have brought her not just personal satisfaction, but also widespread admiration and support.
The German influencer showcases vibrant rose tattoos on her legs, a bold leopard print design across her shoulders, and intricate portrait ink on her arms—just a glimpse of the many tattoos that adorn her body.
She’s fully embraced her transformation, saying, “When I look in the mirror, I see a beautiful field full of flowers to love.”
