Lizzo turned heads on Thursday as she revealed her striking weight loss in a series of bold lingerie photos shared to Instagram.

The 36-year-old Truth Hurts singer—who began documenting her fitness journey in 2023—modeled vibrant pieces from her own shapewear line, Yitty.

Her latest post follows a headline-making moment during her recent Saturday Night Live performance, where she threw shade at former President Donald Trump.

In the photos, Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, posed confidently in a hot pink lace bra and matching bottoms, snapping a mirror selfie from a spacious bathroom.

Captioning the post to her 11.7 million followers, she wrote, “Smoothing lace is back @yitty.”

Lizzo originally launched Yitty in 2022 in partnership with Fabletics, aiming to promote body positivity and confidence through inclusive shapewear.

Yitty offers more than just shapewear and intimates—it also features apparel like dresses and loungewear.

In her latest selfies, Lizzo confidently showcased her slimmer figure as she continues on her weight loss journey.

Earlier this year in January, the singer—who has denied using Ozempic—proudly revealed that she had reached her weight release goal.

Taking to Instagram at the time, she wrote: “I did it. Today when I stepped on the scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Time for new goals!”

More recently, during an episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Lizzo shared why she prefers the term “weight release” over “weight loss.”

She credited her boyfriend, Myke Wright, for the shift in perspective. “My man, he’s so funny,” she said. “He was the one who brought it up to me at first. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I lost five pounds,’ and he asked, ‘Where did it go?’”

“At first, I was annoyed,” she admitted. “I was like, ‘Why would he say that?’ But then I thought about it—‘Where did it go?’”

The Good As Hell hitmaker explained that her goal was never to “lose anything,” but rather to “win.” Lizzo emphasized the importance of being intentional with her words, knowing that young people are watching and absorbing the messages she puts into the world—just as she once did growing up.

She opened up about how media portrayals of weight gain and loss had impacted her mental health, saying, “Be careful with your words, because they can affect someone in ways you may not realize.”

Lizzo acknowledged the influence her own physical transformation has had on others and expressed that she takes that responsibility seriously. “Even me releasing the weight has affected people, and I take that seriously,” she shared. “Because of that, I want to transform it into something that helps people feel more at ease and less afraid of it.”

In a March interview with The New York Times last year, Lizzo revealed she had been losing weight gradually and intentionally. She reflected, “I don’t really notice it much—anyone who’s on a natural weight-loss journey knows how slow it is. You don’t see the changes until, one day, you finally do.”
