A private investigator has disclosed that men who cheat tend to exhibit one particular behavior that reveals their infidelity. Suspecting a partner of cheating can be an emotionally draining experience, but it’s crucial to collect solid proof before jumping to conclusions.

Nobody wants to harm a relationship with unfounded accusations, especially if their partner is faithful.

This is where professionals like private investigators come in. One experienced PI has identified a common pattern shared by many unfaithful men.

Over the years, he has noticed a clear and surprisingly straightforward pattern among men engaged in affairs.

During an appearance on the Locked In with Ian Bick podcast, Ranno shared insights from his intriguing career.

When a suspicious encounter arises, Ranno uses his specialized tools to gather the evidence his clients require.

While popular culture often portrays private investigators lurking in trench coats with bulky cameras, Ranno’s approach is much more subtle and technologically advanced.

He explained how he uses an everyday object—a coffee cup—that’s actually fitted with a hidden high-definition camera. “If I’m at a coffee shop, supermarket, or anywhere I need to be, I simply remove the lid, turn on the camera, put the lid back on, and it looks like I’m just carrying a cup of coffee. Meanwhile, I’m recording everything,” he said.

Once he has collected video and photo evidence, Ranno delivers it to the client, helping them verify whether their doubts were justified.

He also shared a key behavior he’s noticed repeatedly when tracking suspected cheaters.

“If a guy is planning to pick up his secret partner, he usually wants his car spotless,” Ranno explained. While it might seem like a minor detail, for him, a suddenly clean car is a major warning sign.

He believes this isn’t just about keeping things tidy — it’s often a deliberate step to prepare for meeting someone they want to impress.

“Whenever I see someone head to the car wash, I immediately think, ‘Okay, what’s coming next?’ It’s surprising how often this happens,” he added.

Ranno also pointed out that this behavior is more typical among men than women.

“Women don’t tend to do this as much since they often get into the guy’s car,” he said. “Men usually want to be the ones driving. It’s rare to see a man get into a woman’s car.”

Though every situation is different, a sudden car wash trip might mean more than just wanting a clean ride — it could be the first sign that something is happening behind the scenes.
