The content creator from Christchurch, New Zealand, who amassed over 200,000 followers on social media, has sadly passed away.
Following the devastating news of McShain’s death, heartfelt tributes have flooded in across the internet.

One fan wrote: “You’ve been such an inspiration. Enjoy that long run in the sky. Thinking of you.”
Another shared: “Sweet Dom, your life brought so much joy and light to all of us. Sending all my love.”

Other symptoms of colon cancer can include diarrhea, changes in stool shape, abdominal pain or cramping, and unexplained weight loss.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Colon cancer begins when abnormal cell growth occurs in the colon, which is the first and longest section of the large intestine. As part of the digestive system, the large intestine plays a crucial role in breaking down food for the body to absorb nutrients.”

Earlier this month, McShain told her followers that she had just days left to live.
The TikToker had been diagnosed with colon cancer — also known as colorectal cancer — after experiencing symptoms like blood in her stool, extreme fatigue, and constipation.

According to the BBC, cases of colon cancer and other types of cancer are increasing among people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s across 24 countries, including the U.K. and the U.S.
The rise in early-onset cancer has become a growing concern for medical experts.
Before her heartbreaking diagnosis, McShain had been pursuing a degree in psychology.

Shortly after her diagnosis, McShain began sharing her cancer journey online, quickly building a large following.
At first, doctors gave the TikTok star an estimated five years to live, but she tragically passed away this month, just over a year after her diagnosis.
Fans were devastated when, on April 7, McShain posted a ‘final update’ on Instagram.
The 21-year-old wrote: “I want to be honest with you all: this will be my last update on my cancer journey until I have passed away. I was recently given a prognosis about five days ago, estimating only a few days to a few weeks left. My life may have been short, but I truly believe I made the most of every moment.”
